Ben Kindem, MBADirector of Practice Operations

Ben Kindem is a healthcare business leader with a track record of success in operations, business development, and physician relations. With a career spanning nearly two decades in a variety of healthcare organizations & settings, Ben brings a wealth of experience to his role as Director of Practice Operations at Modern Minds.

At Modern Minds, Ben is responsible for overseeing the business and administrative aspects of the practice including operations, process improvement, finance, and business development. He is dedicated to delivering exceptional operational and leadership results through a collaborative, team-based approach with a focus on continuous improvement. Ben is known for his strong analytical, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Before joining Modern Minds, Ben served in leadership positions for two different health systems in Illinois.  He has had operational and administrative oversight of several medical specialties including Psychiatry, Ophthalmology, Endocrinology, Urgent Care,  and Primary Care.   Ben has experience working in large academic medical centers as well as smaller community hospital settings.

Ben holds a Master of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The College of Charleston.

In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his friends and family, as well as outdoor activities like hiking, camping, and kayaking.
