Patrick Harmon

Background

Patrick Harmon joined Modern Minds with a passion for helping others and a wealth of experience in recovery coaching. Originally from central Pennsylvania, Patrick has called Charleston home since November 2020.

A dedicated Philadelphia Eagles fan, Patrick brings the same enthusiasm to his work that he has for his favorite team. For the past three years, he has worked as a Peer Recovery Coach at MUSC, where he introduced patients to various pathways to sobriety and connected them with treatment and support programs within their communities. His outstanding dedication to patient care earned him the MUSC Patient and Family Centered Care Award.

Before transitioning to healthcare, Patrick spent many years in the food and beverage industry. One notable moment in his culinary career was a brief encounter with celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck while working at Spago in Chicago in 1997.

Patrick is passionate about helping and encouraging others, self-improvement, and, of course, the Philadelphia Eagles. He holds an Associate Degree in Social Services, graduating with high honors from Harrisburg Area Community College.
