Tina KaminskiMasters Level Therapist
Tina Kaminski is a licensed independent social worker with expertise in clinical practice and clinical anxiety treatment. She graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Social Work from Columbia University and possesses a Master of Arts in Developmental Psychology as well a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology. Before coming to Modern Minds, Tina practiced in a range of clinical settings in Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and South Carolina. She has worked with clients of all ages and at all stages of life in private practice, psychiatric inpatient with partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient services while also working as the clinical director of a nonprofit community agency. Outside of her professional life, Tina’s world revolves around her husband, three daughters and Labrador. Her days are filled with family, friends, yoga, hiking, reading, exploring, and engaging with the Charleston community.
Personal statement: “What drew me to Modern Minds is the passion and vision of this exceptional team. Additionally, the overall initiative of Modern Minds to change the way the world approaches mental health by shifting the focus from pathology to wellness and from treating individual conditions to treating the whole person aligns with my own values and committed action in this critical area. The opportunity to be part of such a forward-thinking concept that integrates technology with human centered empathy and compassion in order to best serve those who are struggling with anxiety and depression is the culminating endeavor of my entire career.”
