Sierra McCrayIntake Coordinator

Sierra has been with Modern Minds since April 2023 and is dedicated to making the intake process as smooth and seamless as possible for our clients. With her background in mental health services and her compassionate nature, she ensures that every client’s needs are addressed and that they feel comfortable and supported from the moment they reach out.

Previously, Sierra served as a Bachelor Level Access/Mobile Crisis Clinician at the Berkeley Community Mental Health Center, where she performed triage duties and responded to crisis calls within the community. Her experience in this role has given her a deep understanding of the importance of timely and effective mental health support.

Before that, Sierra worked as a Therapeutic Assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina, Institute of Psychiatry. In this role, she was responsible for patient care and played a key role in the patient admission and discharge process.

Sierra is currently enrolled in the Masters of Social Work program at the University of South Carolina, where she is honing her skills and knowledge in the field of mental health services. She is also a graduate of the College of Charleston, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in African American Studies.

In her free time, Sierra enjoys visiting the beach, traveling, cooking, and spending time with dogs, family, and friends. She is passionate about mental health services and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of others.
